Laughter is an instant vacation; and what else does a travel geek, like me, want for daily breakfast in this fast moving world. So even with all the luggage of life I carry, I manage to strike off “Laughter for 10 minutes” every day. Laughter comes in a variety of moods; it is a beautiful phenomenon though. A simple emoji with eyes screwed up and roaring laughter makes me laugh. When I have my physics textbook right next to my guitar, the irony of ways of life makes me roar with laughter. New people make me laugh. I laugh on all my now-I’ve-seen-everything-moments for a few minutes and start off again because they have occurred a countless number of times. The innocence of pure souls sitting next to this cunning world makes me laugh. Roald Dahl, Jerome K. Jerome and P.G Wodehouse; all these never fail in making me gag with laughter. All my insensible moves in my life, when reminisced makes me chuckle. The fact that I had to check the spelling of the word ‘reminisced’ just made me laugh. The visibility of both the sides of a mealy-mouthed person makes me wheeze and cackle with laughter. Winning a prize in a competition without competitors makes me laugh at myself. The mirror makes me laugh. The pleasant thought of all the threads broken on time and their so-called existence makes me laugh. The sight of a good friend and the smile of a good friend makes me laugh. Their ability to see a pun hidden in the nastiest situations makes my eyes water with laughter. My sister running around the house, yelling incantations to fend off milk with her shorts on her head makes me forget the world and laugh. The word ‘Azerbaijan’ makes me laugh; and above all, a strain-free and hearty laughter makes me laugh. This was about what makes me laugh; how about you? Think you have good reasons to laugh go further onto this.

Thoughts liberate through different experiences. Different types of experiences may include people, families, school life, places and probably the most lurid ones are the end products of a long journey which is a meager part of travelling. Travelling includes visiting places, blending oneself into different cultures, adventures and jibing into something new. All these are the inputs of a single thought. Travelling also sends back a big bag of memories. Connecting these beautiful memories with a string of patience produces thoughts. One long journey is enough to give you wistful chunks of the past later on. One might regret not taking that only chance of snorkeling; one might also regret that only chance of singing on the streets before a live audience. These thoughts keep getting collected in our minds and come out all of a sudden later in life. They might be in the form of words, music or tears. They can probably change one’s life.
